Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join one of the biggest European organizations in Stockholm. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand and address business needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritize, analyze, and validate business needs and solution requirements.
• Prepare and maintain the software requirement specifications.
• Organize and facilitate workshops for effective requirements gathering.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Work with system analysts, solution architects, developers, application testers, and technical writers to ensure a shared understanding of needs and quality test coverage.
• Produce and maintain business analysis outputs, including use cases, requirements, mock-ups, user stories, and data models.
• Verify and validate requirements while managing requirements traceability.
• Create and maintain models in Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Write user and system documentation, and prepare and conduct user training.
• Collaborate with the testing team in drafting and reviewing test plans and test cases.
• Assist business users in managing applications and organizing structure and content according to best practices in information architecture.
• Support the project manager and, if needed, assume the role of project manager.

• University degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT, or a non-university degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT.
• Minimum of 3 years of business analysis work experience.
• Mandatory certification: CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the current IT domain and familiarity with the latest technology trends.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical skills for summarizing large amounts of information and addressing incomplete or conflicting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills, targeted communication, and active listening.
• Understanding of industry best practices in Business Analysis (e.g., BABOK).
• Knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Experience with visual modeling and design tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect).
• Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and/or ArchiMate.
• Experience with work item management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, TFS, or Jira).
• Experience in project management.
