We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the Maintenance team. You will coordinate maintenance procedures for the NZ region and ensure that people and resources are applied efficiently and effectively to meet delivery requirements while adhering to quality and safety standards along with providing guidance and delegating work to the NZ Maintenance Team and work collaboratively with the Asset Manager and Fleet Specialist to ensure all systems are working optimally.

Supporting the Operations Manager with the day-to-day management of the Maintenance function, the Maintenance Engineer Lead oversees a group of team members, ensuring efficient operation to achieve business objectives. You provide leadership to the team, coordinate workloads, support team delivery, monitor issues, and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met to satisfy customer requirements along with continuous development of the team by focusing on individual performance and support needs to achieve high standards while fostering a culture of working safely.


  • Bachelors degree or qualification in computer, electrical, mechanical, or related fields is desirable or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing teams.
  • Professional certifications in maintenance management or leadership (e.g. CMRP, PMP, etc.) are desirable.
  • Strong technical experience with mechanical, electrical and automated systems
  • Excellent project management skills, including organising and documenting work.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Full driver's license with the ability to tow and reverse heavy trailers, and a good driving record.
  • Must pass a police and driving history check to a level satisfactory to our clients.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods.
