Gantry Operator- CNC Laser/Plasma Operator - Profiles

This position is fulltime permanent, and the successful candidates will be based at our Vulcan Profiles site in East Tamaki.

Gantry Operator - you will be assisting with operating the gantry crane and setting product in place for the machine operators to load the plasma and CNC machines. You will also assist with clean up and the loading of product onto the truck due for dispatch out to clients.

CNC Operator - you will be operating both CNC Laser and Plasma machines - working with mild steel. This is a manufacturing/production environment. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is required.

We have vacancies across both day and night shift and also taking enquiries potentially for a weekend shift (Fri/Sat/Sun)

• You will need to have good attention to detail
• Forklift licence
• You will need to be reliable
• Have a full class 1 licence
• Able to work overtime
• Gantry Operator - Good level of physical fitness - this is a physically demanding position
• We would be keen as time progresses to up skill you
• You will need to have Gantry Crane experience
• CNC Machine operators - minimum of 2 years experience working with mild steel or in a similar production environment

We pay an hourly rate with time and half for overtime hours above 40. Other benefits available also such as free parking onsite, company gym and EAP support.
