Why Work With Us?

As CARE ADHD continues to grow, we’re searching for a meticulous and detail-oriented Referrals Administrator to become an integral part of our team. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Referrals Administrator, your role will involve:

  • Processing NHS and self-referrals, accurately entering client and patient details into our systems.
  • Reviewing referral information and ensuring all necessary details are present for processing.
  • Occasionally reaching out to clients, GPs or other healthcare providers to obtain missing information.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in our systems, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
  • Ensuring that referrals are allocated to the correct departments.
  • Supporting the team in tracking referral statuses and ensuring all follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to data quality initiatives to improve the accuracy and efficiency of referral processing.

You’ll begin by becoming familiar with our internal systems and processes. Your role will be focused on data entry and managing referral documentation, but you will also collaborate with other teams to ensure all client data is complete and ready for processing.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong attention to detail and experience working in data entry or administrative roles.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in emailing healthcare providers and clients.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring the efficient processing of referrals.
  • Experience working with data management systems (familiarity with healthcare software would be a plus).
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to escalate issues when necessary and ensure data accuracy at all times.

It’s a great bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with electronic patient records (EPR) systems such as EMIS.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and practices.
  • Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting or start-up environment.

What You Can Expect from Us

  • Competitive salary of £26k - £28k, depending on experience
  • A fully remote position with the opportunity to join in-person events and meet-ups throughout the year. Please note this role is only open to UK residents with eligibility to work in the UK.
  • 30 days holiday (includes UK public holidays)
  • A paid day off on your birthday
  • Office equipment when you join
  • Pension contribution
  • Be part of one of the UK’s most ambitious HealthTech start-ups

Apply with Confidence

Studies show that men apply for roles when they meet around 60% of the qualifications, whereas women and other marginalised groups often apply only if they meet every requirement. If you believe you’re a great fit but don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply!

At CARE ADHD, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, especially those from historically marginalised communities, as we work together to create a more equitable future.
